Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Policy Execution
-
Translate Board/MD/CEO-level strategy into department-level SOPs
and verify implementation, not just documentation.
-
Own the quarterly review cycle for policy effectiveness across
all functions.
-
Represent Operations in tender strategy, ensuring compliance and
security capabilities are accurately reflected in bids.
2. Legal & Compliance Oversight
-
Ensure every exam cycle runs within documented legal and regulatory
compliance.
-
Maintain readiness of court orders, audit reports, and
certifications for tenders and stakeholder briefings.
-
Coordinate with the Legal Head on any incident requiring
documentation or regulatory response.
3. Vendor & Process Security
-
Approve and audit vendor onboarding, particularly printing,
transport, and storage partners tied to exam material custody.
-
Own chain-of-custody protocols end-to-end — paper movement,
printing security, storage, and distribution.
-
Mandate and review third-party security audits on a recurring
basis.
4. People & Discipline
-
Ensure mandatory training cycles are scheduled, tracked, and
completed — no exceptions, no lapses.
-
Hold the Disciplinary & Conduct function accountable for
enforcing SOP violations consistently, not selectively.
-
Build a culture where security/process failures are reported upward
immediately, not concealed.
5. Quality, IT & Logistics
-
Oversee SOP design, audit, and continuous improvement across
exam production and delivery.
-
Ensure IT/cybersecurity and physical process security operate as
integrated, not siloed, functions.
-
Own logistics and maintenance functions to the standard required
for zero-failure exam delivery.
6. Client & Crisis Readiness
-
Maintain strong working relationships with state board officials,
independent of media cycles.
-
Work with PR/Communications to ensure a standing, fact-based response
protocol exists for any media inquiry tied to past or current
incidents.
-
Personally review and sign off on the company’s incident response
readiness each quarter.
