| Job description |
| Role & responsibilities: |
| 1 Provide overall leadership and governance for billing, invoicing and commercial operations across all projects. |
| 2 Establish and enforce effective contract management, cost control and statutory compliance across the project lifecycle. |
| 3 Lead and manage billing and commercial teams, streamline processes and implement best practices to minimize financial risks. |
| 4 Ensure timely preparation, submission and certification of client RA bills, final bills, claims and reconciliations. |
| 5 Drive timely collection of client payments, monitor ageing receivables and implement strategies to reduce outstanding dues. |
| 6 Review and interpret contracts, BOQs, drawings and tender documents and advise management on commercial risks and obligations. |
| 7 Oversee preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, comparative statements, cash-flow projections and procurement schedules. |
| 8 Monitor project revenues, costs and margins against approved budgets and schedules and initiate corrective actions. |
| 9 Supervise material reconciliation, subcontractor billing and review of major work orders for commercial risk mitigation. |
| 10 Lead formulation, submission and negotiation of variation claims, escalation claims, EOT-related claims and compensation cases. |
| 11 Ensure preparation and timely submission of monthly MIS reports and present commercial insights to senior management. |
| 12 Oversee SAP-based commercial operations including PRs, work orders, service entries, bill processing and reconciliations. |
| 13 Coordinate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, finance and legal departments to resolve commercial issues. |
| 14 Establish SOPs, controls and performance benchmarks for billing and commercial functions across projects. |
| 15 Drive team development, compliance discipline and continuous improvement in billing accuracy, cash flow and profitability. |
