Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, equipment, and utilities across the precast concrete plant to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations. The role includes preventive maintenance, breakdown support, electrical inspections, energy monitoring, and maintenance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Monitor conveyors, mixers, cranes, TMD, batching plant, compressors, chiller, boiler, DG, RO/STP/ETP, motors, panels, sensors, CCTV, and lighting systems.
- Record machinery parameters and energy consumption readings and report abnormalities.
- Support senior technicians in breakdown maintenance, emergency repairs, installation, and trial runs.
- Perform basic maintenance activities such as greasing, tightening, filter cleaning, belt adjustment, fuse replacement, and minor electrical repairs.
- Identify abnormal noise, vibration, heating, leakage, or equipment conditions and report to the supervisor.
- Handle plant plumbing-related issues and coordinate repairs when required.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, checklists, and SAP material issuance as required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, PPE usage, safe working practices, and closure of safety observations.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
