Job Profile – Office Accountant – Private Wealth Office
The role involves providing a range of accounting and administrative support services to assist a Private wealth management office. The Office oversees local and international portfolio of assets which comprise ownership in private companies, real estate assets, local/international liquid portfolios and managed funds held via in-kingdom and offshore companies.
Tasks can include:
- Processing, recording and monitoring transactions of the respective company accounts which includes:
- inflows (such as income, dividend collections, rental collections, asset sales etc.) and;
- outgoings (such as investment payments, bank payments, staff / office expenses, residential expenses, other maintenance, credit card transactions, day to day expenses etc.).
- Managing the respective filings including VAT, zakat and audit – where needed.
- Prepare (monthly/quarterly) reconciliation reports for the different accounts to be kept in sync with relevant third-party records such as bank statements, investment accounts, investee records etc.
- Maintaining effective filing of records (hard files and soft form), proper document control. Update documents and databases as needed.
- Interface with 3rd party professionals such as bankers, money managers, investee or partner company officers to process transactions and to coordinate administrative tasks whenever needed such as facilitating information exchange, forwarding legal documents, managing signatures etc.
- Maintain executive’s agenda and assist in planning appointments, board meetings, conferences etc.
- Conduct any ad-hoc tasks such as performing research, drafting executive emails, preparing reports, or other general office tasks as assigned.
- Manage highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Assist with any special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Bilingual with Arabic is an advantage)
- Proficiency in Excel and accompanying Microsoft Office Suite software
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage time, work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality for all private information
- Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable and professional demeanour.
- Accounting degree or relevant work experience of minimum three years.
