Job Description: Sr Business Analyst (5-7 Years of Experience)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sr Business Analyst with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on requirement gathering, stakeholder coordination, and development, primarily in the Mutual Funds domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with business goals.

Position Overview:

As a Sr Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, documenting requirements, and working with the development team to deliver solutions. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in business analysis while contributing to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, end-users, and clients to gather, analyze, and document project requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business objectives and translate them into functional requirements.
- Ensure alignment of business needs with project goals through comprehensive analysis.
Requirement Documentation:
- Develop clear and detailed requirement documents, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous, and clearly reflect client expectations.
Solution Development Support:
- Provide support to development teams by clarifying requirements and offering ongoing guidance during the project lifecycle.
- Participate in design discussions to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and quality assurance, to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and UAT:
- Validate developed solutions against documented requirements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet end-user needs and business objectives.
Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:
- Identify, analyze, and resolve potential conflicts in requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues and ensure project success.
Learning and Growth:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and methodologies in requirement gathering, business analysis, and development processes.
- Actively seek opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or related fields (An MBA combined with any bachelor’s degree is acceptable for candidates who have experience in Mutual Funds).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Experience in documenting and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and working within agile environments.
Knowledge of Mutual Funds or financial services industry is a plus.
