Role Summary

The Zonal Head – Gold Loan will be responsible for driving business growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and team performance across the assigned zone. The role involves managing multiple branches, ensuring achievement of business targets, maintaining portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

·         Drive Gold Loan business growth across the assigned zone and achieve revenue and portfolio targets.

·         Manage and monitor branch performance, productivity, and profitability.

·         Lead, mentor, and develop regional and branch teams to ensure high employee engagement and performance.

·         Implement business strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and market penetration.

·         Ensure adherence to operational processes, audit standards, compliance requirements, and RBI guidelines.

·         Monitor portfolio quality and control delinquency, fraud risks, and operational lapses.

·         Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth business operations and process improvements.

·         Analyze MIS reports, market trends, and competition to identify growth opportunities.

·         Strengthen customer relationships and ensure superior service delivery.

·         Conduct regular branch visits and performance reviews to ensure operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile

·         Strong experience in Gold Loan / Retail Banking / NBFC operations.

·         Proven track record in handling large teams and multi-branch operations.

·         Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·         Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.

·         Sound knowledge of Gold Loan valuation, operations, compliance, and risk management.

·         Result-oriented professional with strong business acumen.

Qualification & Experience

·         Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.

·         15 plus years of experience in Banking / Financial Services with significant exposure to Gold Loan business.

·         Prior experience in handling zonal or regional responsibilities is preferred.
