Project Execution - Finishing - Manager

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

1 Plan, execute and supervise all finishing works at project sites including interior and exterior finishing activities.

2 Manage high-end finishing works such as flooring, joinery, wall finishes, painting, cladding, panelling, façade finishes and structural glazing.

3 Ensure seamless coordination of finishing activities with MEP services to achieve integrated and defect-free execution.

4 Prepare, monitor and update finishing work schedules in line with overall project milestones and deadlines.

5 Coordinate with consultants, client representatives and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues and obtain approvals.

6 Manage day-to-day coordination with finishing subcontractors and service contractors to ensure smooth workflow and sequencing.

7 Track progress of all finishing packages and ensure timely completion as per approved plans.

8 Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure workmanship meets approved specifications and quality standards.

9 Ensure strict adherence to project-specific safety requirements and promote a zero-accident culture during finishing activities.

10 Enforce compliance with quality specifications, approved mock-ups, samples and company ISO procedures.

11 Plan and manage material requirements including timely indenting, inspection and proper storage of finishing materials.

12 Monitor finishing works against approved budgets and control quantities, wastage and rework.

13 Lead, guide and manage site finishing teams including engineers, foremen, charge hands and workforce.

14 Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports and update stakeholders on finishing status.

15 Ensure systematic snagging, punch-list closure and defect rectification prior to handover and project completion.
