Job Title: Regional Finance & Accounting Controller
Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports To: Managing Director
Department: Finance
Regional Oversight: GCC, Jordan, Lebanon, Nigeria
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on Regional
Finance & Accounting Controller to lead financial reporting,
accounting, taxation, and compliance across our operations in the GCC,
Jordan, Lebanon and Nigeria.
This role combines day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities
with group-level financial consolidation under IFRS, control, and
compliance. The position ensures accurate reporting, regulatory adherence,
and financial discipline across all subsidiaries, while maintaining a
strong operational grip on transactional accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Group Reporting & Consolidation
· Prepare and consolidate Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and other group financial statements in line with IFRS.
· Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for management, audit, and tax purposes.
· Contribute to cash flow reporting, budgeting, and forecasting with consolidated insights.
· Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems and reporting processes across regions.
Assurance & Internal Control
· Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
· Coordinate and support internal and external audits, preparing audit schedules and follow-ups.
· Identify and monitor financial risks, proposing corrective measures and process improvements.
Taxation & Compliance
· Handle tax filings (corporate tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, social security) and liaise with tax consultants and authorities.
· Maintain and update compliance documentation, including KYC, contracts, and statutory records.
· Support tax planning and transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with advisors.
· Ensure adherence to local regulations and international compliance frameworks (e.g., AML, FATCA).
Accounting & Bookkeeping (Assisting in Bookkeeping)
· Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting entries, including invoices, bank reconciliations, expense allocations, and journal postings.
· Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations for assigned entities.
· Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing across multiple entities.
· Maintain complete and organized supporting documentation for all financial transactions.
· Coordinate with local accountants and external service providers in each country to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
· Oversee inventory, fixed assets, and accrual entries, ensuring correct classification and valuation.
Coordination & Communication
· Liaise with regional teams, external auditors, and consultants to ensure standardized financial processes.
· Provide management with accurate, transparent, and consolidated financial information.
· Act as the key financial point of contact for all regional subsidiaries and oversee reporting alignment.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
· CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
· 5–8 years of experience in accounting and financial controlling, preferably in a regional or group structure.
· Proven hands-on accounting experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and financial closing.
· Deep knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
· Strong skills in ERP systems (preferably SAP B1 or Tally) and financial reporting tools.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple regional priorities.
· Familiarity with financial and tax regulations in GCC, Jordan, Lebanon and Nigeria.
Additional Information
· Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other regional languages are a plus.
· Prior experience in the GCC, Jordan, Lebanon and Nigeria region is required.
· Occasional travel to regional offices/subsidiaries may be required.
