DVP/VP - Current Account Compliance
Job Summary:
The DVP/VP of Current Account Compliance plays a critical role in ensuring
adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within the banking
sector. This position is pivotal in safeguarding the organization’s integrity
and reputation by leading compliance initiatives and fostering a culture of
accountability and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust compliance frameworks for current account
operations to ensure full regulatory adherence.

Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits, identifying areas
for improvement and mitigating potential risks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance training is
effectively delivered and understood by all relevant stakeholders.

Monitor and report on developments in legislation and regulations, advising
senior management on necessary policy adjustments.

Lead investigations relating to compliance breaches, ensuring corrective
actions are implemented promptly.

Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and industry

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related
field; a Master’s or relevant certification is a plus.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in compliance within the banking or
financial services sector.

In-depth understanding of current account regulations and compliance-related
challenges.
