Android Developer

Job Summary:

The Android Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative mobile applications for Android devices. This position is instrumental in enhancing user experience and driving the growth of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and developments in mobile technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kotlin and Java for Android programming.
• Knowledge of Android Jetpack components and modern development practices.
• Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
