Lead Analyst (Asia Core+ Strategy, Real Estate Funds), Gurugram, India
Role Overview
The Lead Analyst will support the Asia Core+ Strategy within the Real Estate Funds platform, working closely with Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Fund Controllers and Investor Reporting teams. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of investor‑facing materials, fund‑level reporting and strategic analysis. The Lead Analyst will also mentor and guide the Analyst on day‑to‑day workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Own preparation and review of quarterly letters, flash reports, talking points, fund snapshots and investor templates
· Develop, refine and maintain pitchbooks, marketing materials, and content for the Limited Partners Annual Conference
· Lead responses for due diligence requests from LPs and consultants, coordinating inputs across multiple teams
· Oversee creation and accuracy of Separately Managed Account (SMA) letters
· Ensure consistent and accurate information flow between portfolio management, asset management and controllers
· Maintain and enhance datasets across valuation metrics, property attributes, financial performance and fund‑level trackers
· Conduct analysis to identify trends, variances and key performance drivers, present insights to stakeholders
· Manage quality control and workflow allocation for the Analyst; provide training and feedback
· Partner with onshore and offshore teams to align messaging, data integrity and reporting timelines
· Support ad‑hoc strategic projects and operational improvement initiatives across the fund
· Maintain a strong focus on compliance, governance and data accuracy
Essential Skills & Experience:
· 5-7 years’ experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, valuation, portfolio management, financial reporting or related areas
· Strong understanding of real estate valuation, fund structures and Core/Core+ investment strategies
· Expertise in preparing investor materials, DDQs, pitchbooks and fund‑level communications
· Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
· Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
· Demonstrated ability to mentor junior analysts and manage workflows
· Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related fields (preferred)
· CFA designation is a plus
· High attention to detail, data accuracy and analytical rigor
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
