Fund Performance Reporting, Lead Analyst | Bangalore | 12:00 – 21:30
Role Overview:
The Lead Analyst will support performance reporting for Blackstone Real
Estate Partners, Blackstone's global opportunistic real estate fund
platform serving institutional investors. The role will translate
finalized quarterly valuations and investment activity across a diverse
global portfolio into accurate, insightful, and decision-ready reporting
for Senior Management and Limited Partners.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review quarterly performance reports for Senior Management
and Limited Partners using finalized valuation, cash-flow, and
approved source data.

Reconcile fund - and investment - level information across valuation
files and reporting systems.

Support data clean-up, standardization, and validation initiatives to
ensure data quality and readiness for storage in Snowflake.

Calculate and validate performance metrics, including IRR, XIRR, MOIC,
realized value, unrealized value, and total value.

Analyze and explain period-over-period performance movements,
including changes driven by valuations, acquisitions, realizations,
and distributions.

Coordinate with US stakeholders and internal teams to resolve data
discrepancies and deliver accurate reports within established
timelines.

Review junior team members’ work, provide technical guidance, and
ensure compliance with reporting standards and controls.

Maintain supporting documentation and audit trails for calculations,
reconciliations, and reported performance.

Support management, regulatory, audit, and ad hoc reporting
requirements.

Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve reporting
processes and controls.
Development Opportunities:

members, and support process automation and control enhancements.
Essential Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics,
Business Administration, or a related discipline;
CFA, FRM, CAIA, MBA, or a similar qualification is preferred.

5 – 8 years of relevant reporting experience, preferably within real
estate, private equity, alternative investments, asset management, or
financial services.

Strong knowledge of fund performance metrics, including IRR, XIRR, and
MOIC, with experience in complex reconciliations and Senior Management
or LP reporting.

Advanced Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and data-validation
skills, with the ability to deliver accurate reporting under tight
deadlines.

Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with
experience reviewing junior team members’ work and applying reporting
controls, governance, and risk-management practices.
