About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Owner with strong experience in the Payments domain to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of digital payment solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing payment products.
🔹 Key Responsibilities

Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities for payment solutions.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer impact.

Convert business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria .

Collaborate with engineering, QA, UX, compliance, and operations teams for successful product delivery.

Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards (PCI-DSS, RBI, PSD2, etc.).

Monitor product performance using KPIs, customer feedback, and data analytics .

Work with external partners, banks, networks, and payment providers for integrations.

Drive go-to-market strategy for new payment features and enhancements.
🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Banking / FinTech / Payments domain .

Proven experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in Agile environment.

Strong understanding of:

Cards & Digital Payments
-
UPI / Real-time payments
-
Payment gateways & wallets
-
Reconciliation & settlement
-
Chargebacks & dispute lifecycle

Experience with API-driven products and microservices architecture .

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to make data-driven product decisions .
🔹 Good to Have
-
CSPO / CSM / SAFe POPM certification.

Knowledge of fraud & risk management in payments.

Experience with cross-border payments.
-
Exposure to cloud-based payment platforms.
