Key Responsibilities
· Manage and provide strategic oversight for end-to-end processing of Capital Calls, Investor Contributions, Subscription Activities, and Equity Distributions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to operational controls.
· Oversee review and approval of fund transactions, cash movements, investor capital activity, and portfolio updates in Geneva and supporting operating platforms
· Record and maintain fund transactions, cash movements, investor capital activity, and portfolio updates in Geneva and supporting operating platforms.
· Lead exception management by driving resolution of complex cash, position, and capital activity breaks in partnership with Agents, Trustees, Custodians, Portfolio Managers, Deal Teams, onshore teams, and internal stakeholders.
· Oversee waterfall allocation reviews, equity distribution calculations, carried interest support, management fee review, and investor reporting preparation.
· Act as a senior subject matter expert for fund equity accounting, private credit operations, structured finance workflows, and Geneva-related operational processes.
· Own and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operating controls, training plans, and knowledge management practices across the team. Liaise with global teams and support ongoing projects, system integration, perform UAT, as needed.
· Drive governance, risk, control, and audit readiness by ensuring robust documentation, evidence retention, and adherence to agreed operating procedures.
· Partner with global stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of operational processes, project deliverables, and client requirements.
· Provide regular updates to senior management and onshore stakeholders on deliverables, risks, escalations, process performance, and improvement opportunities.
Required Experience and Skills
· A postgraduate degree or professional certification, preferably CFA or Chartered Accountant (CA), is preferred.
· Minimum 10+ years of experience in Fund Operations, Fund Accounting, Alternative Investments, Private Credit Operations, Asset Servicing, Structured Finance Operations, or related financial services functions.
· Strong understanding of Capital Calls, Investor Contributions, Subscription Activities, Equity Distributions, Waterfall Allocations, Fund Cash Management, Investor Reporting, and Reconciliation and Exception Management processes.
· Strong hands-on experience with Geneva is preferred.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Geneva, and internal operating platforms, with the ability to review data, trends, and process performance effectively.
· Demonstrated experience working with global teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and handling multiple priorities within a deadline-driven environment.
· CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligation) and/or Structured Finance background preferred.
· Strong understanding of Direct Lending (DL) and Private Credit structures, including investment funding, repayments, restructurings, amendments, and portfolio monitoring activities.
· Knowledge of alternative investment products, private markets, private credit, structured finance, and fund structures.
