Technical Product Owner - Fraud Detection OR Credit Card Payments

Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven Technical Product Owner to lead innovative projects in Fraud Detection OR Credit Card Payments. This role will crucially impact our financial technology solutions by leveraging AI and ML models to enhance security and efficiency in payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for fraud detection solutions and payment processing technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, data scientists, and designers to deliver high-quality product features.
• Gather and prioritize product requirements by engaging with stakeholders and users to understand their needs.
• Utilize data analytics and user feedback to guide product development and optimize features related to fraud prevention and transaction security.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring priority issues are addressed and align with the overall business goals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, review sessions, and retrospectives, to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry.
• Proven experience with fraud detection systems and credit card payment processing.
• Strong understanding of AI and ML technologies, particularly their application in fraud detection and security.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA or Trello.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field or an MBA.
• Experience in developing AI and ML models specifically for predictive analytics in fraud detection.
• Certifications in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner - CSPO).
• Previous experience working directly with financial regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Background in data science or analytics, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
