Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end external audit engagements across multiple clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Stay current on accounting literature, trends, and technical issues relevant to client industries.
Oversee engagement operations: budget, resourcing, billing, collections, timelines, and milestones.
Set engagement team culture and mentor team members in career development.
Build and manage client relationships, driving a high-quality client experience.
Apply KPMG’s Audit Methodology consistently.
Lead planning, execution, and completion stages, coordinating with partners to meet key milestones.
Proactively review audit procedures, allocate resources, and monitor performance via continuous reviews.
Drive innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing to enhance service delivery.

Act as performance manager for Senior Associates: coach, guide, and provide continuous feedback on development.
Lead performance development and feedback processes at team and GDC level.
Champion and embed GDC culture.
Support business/industry-specific knowledge development initiatives at GDC.
Lead or participate in firm-wide strategic initiatives and CSR programs.
Improve operational effectiveness via better utilization and efficiencies.

✅ Mandatory Skills

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

5–7 years post-qualification experience
Strong Articleship from a mid-size or Big 4 firm (for CA)
Recent client-facing audit experience with Big 4 / leading audit firms or their shared service center (end-to-end audits)
Minimum 1 year as an Audit Manager on end-to-end audits
