The primary focus of the role will be to provide the advisory and oversight support for the Controls team in providing business-unit aligned coverage of the quantification and delivery of a highly visible, business focused and pragmatic Technology Controls agenda to ensure compliance with Barclays Technology policies, standards, frameworks and procedures. The candidate will perform the Technology & Cyber Controls Business Partner (CBP) role supporting overall Issues Management & Technology Controls with special focus and expertise in Technology and Cyber controls covering primarily all areas of the Bank as part of the TCRS-CMA team. This will require the successful candidate to maintain healthy engagement with key stakeholders within the Technology & Cyber CCO, Technology-GTSM/GTIS, CISO, as well as stakeholders external to Technology such as Internal Audit and Operational Risk as well as.
To be successful as a "TCRS Tech Risk & Control Analyst GTSM", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering and equivalent work experience in relevant industry with strong background in risk management, Technology, Cyberand information security
Experience in assessing design and operating effectiveness of technology controls
Experience of a project environment, in particular planning, testing, and tracking against a plan
Experience in leveraging IT risk frameworks such as COBIT5, COSO, NIST
Hands-on experience of information technology risks, controls and risk remediation and experience using industry wide GRC tools
Hands on working knowledge of Technology, Cyber and resilience controls in a Banking/Financial services organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, results driven environment.
Excellent communication skills (both oral/written) including ability to clearly communicate risks and control issues to technologists and non-technologists.
Good understanding of retail and investment banking domain, technology setup and ability to understand technology-enabled business risk.
Excellent analytical and methodical approach to respond to internal and external events related to Technology & Cyber, emerging threats, identified vulnerabilities, regulatory actions.

Experience in playing a role in:
Review of Audit findings, self-identified issues and breaches to align them with operational risk, regulatory requirements and Barclay’s Control Framework
Advising IT on pragmatic approaches to meeting regulatory mandated technology controls and risk reduction
Relevant professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, PMP or equivalent
Experience in leveraging IT risk frameworks such as COBIT5, COSO, NIST
Experience of Resilience framework like DORA and certifications like CBCP, ABCP etc.
This role will be based out of Pune.
