Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and REST APIs using Java/Spring Boot
• Build and support full stack features using React (frontend) and Java/Spring Boot (backend)
• Deploy and run services on AWS , including monitoring, troubleshooting, and participating in production incident/war room activities
• Collaborate with product, QA, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Ensure high code quality via unit/integration tests, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers; contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, tooling, and processes
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Qualifications - External

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in UI, with at least 3+ years in a senior role.
• 6+ years of proven experience in Java-based backend systems and modern frontend frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security
• 6+ years of solid expertise on React, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks)
• 6+ years of Git and version control systems
• 5+ years of RESTful API design and development, Microservices architecture, API Gateways (Spring Cloud Gateway or similar)
• 4+ years of writing and optimizing stored procedures
• 4+ years of building tools and CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
• 2+ years of hands on experience with AWS Cloud for web deployment
• 3+ years of SQL databases, database design, and optimization
• 1+ years of experience building agents and RAG based systems using GoogleADK/CrewAI/AutoGen
• Solid understanding of full software development lifecycle
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Java-based backend systems and modern frontend frameworks
• Solid understanding of application security best practices
• Familiarity with cloud environments (preferred AWS)
