Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for an Senior in the Financial Service Audit team. In this team, your responsibilities will include working with a team of experienced professionals and work on Audit engagements of international KPMG teams and Financial Service and/or international clients. In addition, you will be required to:
·Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh graduates and
experienced professionals.
·Auditing and Incharging complex sections of the financial
statements of companies as per country specific statutory
requirements
·Monitoring work, managing, and motivating the team to ensure
deliverable meet necessary quality standards
·Being active member of the Financial Service Audit engagement team
and performing audit procedures
·Contacting client and onshore team regularly to update on the
progress of audit engagement
·Sharing knowledge, mentoring, and coaching the team members.
·Identification of issues/missing information and managing &
tracking the open issues until resolved.
·Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk
management policy by the team members.
·Performance review of the team.
·Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team
members to enable them to improve their performance.
·Building relationships with senior stakeholders both onshore as
well as KRC
Work experience
•1-3 years of experience preferably with a Big4 in a client facing
environment working on Financial Services audits and/or
international clients. End to end audit experience will be an added
advantage
•IFRS 9 and Credit risk knowledge preferred but at the least
strong Banking knowledge
