About the Role

We are seeking a strong Business Analyst with proven experience in launching mobile app journeys for trading and investment markets . The ideal candidate will have end-to-end trading domain expertise , covering order placement, execution, settlement, and post-trade activities , and will play a key role in delivering digital transformation projects for brokerage and capital markets .

This role involves working on two major initiatives :

• Brokerage (India) – Digital trading journeys for retail brokerage customers.
• Capital Markets (Global) – End-to-end trading and investment journeys for capital markets clients.

1. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts , providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Expertise in managing business transformation initiatives as a transformation Business Analyst having very strong business communication skills (must have) .
• Lead end-to-end mobile app journey design for trading and investment products across Capital Markets.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Trading Desk, Technology, UI/UX, and Compliance teams to gather and translate requirements into detailed BRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Support Brokerage (India) and (Global) Capital Markets projects by ensuring alignment of regulatory, operational, and customer experience requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis , current vs target state mapping, and identify impacts to upstream and downstream systems.
• Work with development teams to validate requirements through walkthroughs, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization.
• Perform functional testing, UAT management , and sign-off for trading journey releases.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory frameworks (SEBI, FCA* where applicable), internal controls, and risk mitigation practices.
• Track project progress, prepare management updates, and ensure timely delivery of releases.

2. Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory Skills

• Strong domain knowledge in Capital Markets & Trading (Equity / Derivatives / Fund investments).
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end digital trading journey design (preferably mobile app journeys).
• Understanding of order lifecycle: Order → Execution → Confirmation → Settlement → Brokerage & Fees .
• Experience working as a Business Analyst in banking, wealth, brokerage, or trading technology platforms.
• Ability to write clear BRDs, Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flow Diagrams (Visio /Figma/ Lucidchart ) .
• Experience coordinating with Front Office, Technology, Operations, and Compliance .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Global Capital Markets , Investment Platforms.
• Exposure to Trading APIs, FIX Protocol, OMS/RMS systems .
• Understanding of market risk concepts , pricing feeds, and portfolio valuation.
• Hands-on involvement in UAT planning & test case design .
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Prior experience in launching mobile-based trading journeys for retail or mass affluent clients.

3. Education & Experience

Requirement	Details
Education	Bachelor’s degree in finance / commerce / economics / engineering or equivalent. MBA / CFA L1+ is a plus.
Experience	7-9 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets / Wealth / Trading platforms.
