Purpose of the role
To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance,
mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software
solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation,
and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions
with business objectives.
Accountabilities

Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and
high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational
objectives.

Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task
prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within
scope, time, and budget.

Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance
reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for
improvement.

Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and
methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize
team productivity.

Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and
other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical
solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:

Graduate / Postgraduate preferably in human resources.

Effective Stakeholder management with global leads and delivery teams.

Hands on experience in transformation and process simplification projects.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence.

Lead the delivery across Workday and Service Now platforms for main
colleague improvements across all Journey Groups working closely with the
Digital Channels Team and Operations teams as key stakeholders to improve
our digital experience.

Lead the prioritisation and guide the delivery of the change portfolio
relating to a group of colleague journeys.

Proven domain expertise in credit cards, co-branded credit card
partnership programs, and financial services technology and experience
with implementing Agentic AI solutions and Vibe coding for process
improvement.

Strong technical proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), AWS, React.JS,

Hands-on leadership style, actively contributing to code and
