Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
IT Business Analyst
with strong expertise in
Credit Risk
, regulatory frameworks, and data-driven system implementations. The ideal
candidate will act as a bridge between the business, risk teams, and IT
development teams, ensuring delivery of high‑quality credit risk solutions
aligned with regulatory and internal risk management requirements.
This role requires deep understanding of
Credit Risk concepts
, hands-on experience with
regulatory requirements (Basel, IFRS 9, CRR2/CRR3, Large Exposures)
, and practical exposure to the
software development lifecycle
, including requirements analysis, functional specification creation,
SQL-based data validation, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Management
-
Engage with credit risk stakeholders to gather, analyse, and validate
business requirements (BRD).

Translate business requirements into
high‑quality Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
for development teams.
-
Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and UAT teams to ensure
accurate implementation of credit risk functionalities.
-
Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, clarification sessions, and
sign‑off processes with business users.
2. Credit Risk Domain Expertise
-
Work with key credit risk metrics including:
-
Contribute to system enhancements across:
-
Credit Risk Calculation, Reporting, Data Management, and Modelling
-
Apply deep understanding of:
-
Concentration Risk, Counterparty Risk, Country Risk, Large
Exposure frameworks
-
Ensure system solutions comply with regulatory standards such as:
-
Basel II/III/IV, IFRS 9, CRR2, ECB requirements, Large Exposures
Regulation
3. Data Analysis & SQL
-
Use SQL for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and impact
analysis.

Analyse data flows, data quality issues, and support data lineage
documentation.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency with
MS Excel
for data analysis.
4. Testing
-
Define test strategy, test plans, and functional test cases.
-
Perform functional, regression, and data validation testing.
-
Work with automated testing tools where applicable (added advantage).
-
Ensure defects are logged, tracked, and resolved appropriately.
