Event Processing: Analyze, process, and manage corporate action events (voluntary and mandatory) throughout their lifecycle (e.g., dividends, stock splits, mergers, rights issues).
Reconciliation: Reconcile cash and securities accounts on a daily basis to ensure accurate positions.
Instruction Handling: Research, validate, and process client instructions regarding voluntary corporate actions.
Market Research: Monitor and analyze corporate action announcements for impact on market value.
Query Resolution: Liaise with front-office, middle-office, brokers, and external parties to resolve outstanding reconciliation items.
Risk Management: Adhere strictly to operational procedures to reduce risk, ensuring high-quality standards and timely escalation of anomalies.
Reporting: Prepare detailed analysis of outstanding items and provide reports to stakeholders.
Automation & Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities to improve current procedures and
support the implementation of new services.
Experience: Generally requires 3–7 years of experience in securities operations or corporate actions, particularly within an investment bank or global solution center.
Functional Knowledge: Strong knowledge of corporate actions and their impact on market value.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with reconciliation tools.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure, as highlighted by the need for root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
Communication:

on-site partners.
