▌ Responsibilities of an Associate Consultant

✓ Typically requires a minimum of 6 months, but ideally 2+ years, of recruiting experience in a search firm or placement agency.
✓ They will work on mid-level mandates that the firm receives from its global Banking and Financial Services, and Technology Consulting clients.
✓ The primary task is to first understand the client’s requirements for various technical and functional roles, identify potential candidates who fit those requirements, and facilitate the entire hiring process — from search to joining.
✓ This may involve coordination with the client’s recruiter/HR team and business managers.
✓ We make extensive use of search tools such as job sites, social networking, and internal and external databases, along with targeted headhunting of desired profiles. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) will need to be acquired.

✓ The role calls for a high level of attention to detail, the ability to learn and educate oneself about a client’s business, strong technical and functional understanding of the roles being worked on, and excellent communication and influencing skills.

▌ Career & Growth Prospects
Growth prospects exist within the firm to become a Team Leader (managing teams) and a Practice Manager (managing client relationships), with the opportunity to eventually become a Partner in the firm. For those interested, lateral moves into corporate HR or recruiting roles are also possible.

▌ Educational Requirement
Graduate (MBA with a major/minor specialization in Marketing, HR, or Finance) or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

▌ Remuneration
Base salary plus incentives: 10% of revenue generated on meeting 100% of target, and 5% of revenue generated on meeting at least 50% of target but below 100%. There is no cap on incentive earnings.
Fast-track growth opportunities exist for compensation and role enhancement based on outstanding performance, with salary increments possible every 3 or 6 months.

Work timings: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. We work alternate Saturdays (alternate five-day workweek).
