Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and
Spring Boot to support RQ Core and Prospective programs.

Contribute to the 2026 Cornerstone decommissioning by modernizing legacy
components and ensuring smooth transition with minimal business disruption.

Implement event-driven and streaming solutions using Kafka to enable
reliable, high-throughput data processing and system integration.

Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes (K8s), ensuring
high availability, resiliency, and optimized resource utilization.

Leverage MongoDB and other data stores to build secure, performant, and
scalable persistence layers aligned with evolving business needs.

Drive AI-enabled automation and engineering best practices, including CI/CD,
observability, security standards, and collaborative design across teams.

change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical
field, or equivalent practical experience.

Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, building and supporting
production-grade backend services.

Experience working with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized deployments in
cloud or hybrid environments.

Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, including RESTful APIs,
service design, and integration patterns.

Proficiency with Kafka and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) for event-driven
architectures and scalable data handling.

Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment, contributing to
modernization efforts, automation, and secure system design with minimal
supervision.
