SAP FP&A Functional – Consultant

The Role -
We are seeking an experienced and skilled resource having 5 to 8 years of IT experience with expertise in SAP Financial Planning and Analytics (SAP FP&A) , and should also have below technical skills:
Ø Lead FP&A Solution Design & Implementation. Drive the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FP&A planning models, forecasting frameworks, and reporting solutions based on client business requirements.
Ø Manage End‑to‑End Client Engagement . Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand needs, conduct workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable SAP FP&A solutions.
Ø Develop Advanced Planning & Reporting Models and Build and optimize planning templates, allocation logic, predictive models, and automated dashboards to support strategic financial decision ‑ making.
Ø Ensure Data Accuracy & System Integration. Oversee data validation, reconciliation, and integration between SAP FP&A, ERP systems, and external data sources to ensure reliable financial insights.
Ø Provide Functional Expertise & Continuous Improvement and Offer expert guidance on FP&A best practices, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend enhancements to improve planning cycles, reporting efficiency, and user experience.
Ø IT experience across the various facets of the SDLC process with a specific focus on QA, test strategy and execution.
Ø Hands-on experience with variety of testing tools, Manual functional testing with agile and scrum methodology.
Ø Experience in Functional Testing/Integration Testing/Regression Testing/System Testing/ E2E Testing and Acceptance Testing
Ø Should have expertise in preparing detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by decomposing Business Requirements, Test Scenarios and Test execution.
Ø Good knowledge of STLC, Black box test techniques & methodologies.
Ø Should document test results including logging bugs with detailed steps to reproduce for development team.
Ø Experience with defect management applications like HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.

Ø Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality.
Ø Test issues troubleshooting and guidance to peers and juniors.
Ø Must be flexible to work on any project requirements and work timings.
Ø Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Ø Should be highly experienced in automated testing experience across a variety of IT technology platforms (ideally banking and finance applications)
Ø Confident in developing test conditions from user stories, technical designs and specifications.

Ø Demonstrates curiosity and open mindedness to new ideas approaches and perspectives.
Ø Actively engages with others to address their views/concerns.

Ø You have excellent skills in acquiring and analysing test data.
Ø Ability to assess testing risks and then estimate, plan, and prioritise tasks accordingly.
Ø Must be flexible to work on any project requirements and work timings.
