About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Qlik Sense Developer with 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data visualization. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Qlik Sense development, data modeling, dashboard development, Qlik scripting, and SQL.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Qlik Sense applications while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Qlik Sense dashboards and reports .
• Translate business requirements into effective BI and data visualization solutions.
• Develop Qlik Sense applications, data models, and visualizations.
• Create and optimize Qlik Sense load scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Work with multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and enterprise data platforms.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and integration.
• Develop complex Set Analysis, expressions, variables, calculated dimensions, and measures .
• Optimize Qlik Sense applications for performance, scalability, and faster reload times.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loads, dashboards, and Qlik applications.
• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Follow best practices for BI development, data security, governance, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other technical teams.
• Support testing, deployment, documentation, and production maintenance of Qlik Sense applications.

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of overall experience in BI/Data Visualization.
• Strong hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development .
• Excellent knowledge of Qlik Sense scripting and data modeling .
• Strong understanding of:
  • Set Analysis
  • Qlik Expressions
  • Variables
  • Advanced Visualizations
  • Associative Data Model
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working with multiple data sources.
• Good understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts .
• Experience with Qlik Sense performance tuning and optimization.
• Understanding of Qlik Sense security, access management, and governance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with QlikView .
• Exposure to Azure / AWS / GCP .
• Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau .
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in enterprise-level BI implementations.
