Job Description : DevOps Engineer/SSE
Experience: 3 - 8 Yrs
Mandatory skills: Python, SQL, Shell scripting, UNIX
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications and scripts using Python
- Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Design and maintain shell scripts (Bash/Korn) for automation and scheduling
- Work extensively in Unix/Linux environments
- Analyse and process large datasets efficiently
- Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Ops)
- Perform performance tuning for SQL queries and scripts
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability
- Maintain technical documentation and SOPs
Technical Skills Required :
- Strong proficiency in Python (data processing, automation, APIs)
- Advanced SQL skills (joins, subqueries, performance tuning)
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux commands and utilities
- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting (bash/ksh)
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Sybase etc.)
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with job schedulers (cron)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge on Java Spring boot and React would be added advantage.
