Role Title: Distinguished Architect - Cloud Enterprise Architect

Purpose of the Role
This position handles primary duties including but not limited to leading a
team Architects in business unit
of Société Générale.
Within the GTS/PLT department, the ATR team is in charge of the architecture
and strategy for the
transformation of IT infrastructures.
• The enterprise architect projects and defines IT infrastructure
transformation plans to meet
strategic needs in line with the expectations and concerns of all
stakeholders.
• The incumbent ensures that the proposed transformations are integrated into
the IS by respecting
the company's standards and security requirements, in a coherent, efficient,
sustainable and
sustainable manner..
Responsibilities in the Role
The role incumbent, as Distinguished Cloud Enterprise Architect carries out
the following activities:
• Conduct strategic architecture analyses on the perimeter of IT
infrastructures: cloud computing,
storage, databases, middleware, workplace, networks and security, whether on
on-prem
infrastructures (Traditional IT, Private Cloud) or in the Public Cloud (Azure
& AWS)
• Get stakeholders on board with a target and a transformation trajectory
• Continuously adjust the transformation plan as implementation iterations
progress
• Edit the principles, norms and standards of architecture
• Formulate architectural opinions evaluating the proper application of norms,
principles and
standards.
• Promote the architectural approach by integrating frugality and innovation
Global Solution Centre
• Animating the community of architects and developing architectural skills
• Promote Cloud Native architectures and principles
• Liaise with the development chain and be an actor in the agile
transformation by assisting the
product teams (Product owner) to translate business value into infrastructure
capacity.
• Participate in and lead certain working groups with the group's architects
(GCOO, ARC)
• Promote and multiply the orientations related to the IS architecture and
facilitate the transfer of
expertise
• Stakeholder Management
o Senior stakeholder management – CIOs, Global Chief Architect, and delivery
team
o Develop and maintain a strong connect with stake holders
o Anticipate the client needs to maintain an excellent relationship
o Build effective synergy with cross-functional units
• Drive our IT transformation.
o Drive solutions for our cloud transformation.
o Drive overall IT portfolio optimization working along with global
stakeholders.
• Explore and use of emerging technologies like AI/ML accelerate
transformation.

o Architectural Study
o Strategic note for GTS management
o Epic Analysis (Scaled Agile Framework)
o Architecture reviews
o Tracking the execution of features and enablers in SAFe trains
o Animation Events: Meetups, Webinars, Arc Tech-Talks with the Bangalore
teams, GTS
Architecture Day, SG Cloud event, etc.
Qualifications:
• A good academic background - UG/PG Engineering Degree preferred.
• ~20yrs of experience with at least 10 years as an Architect
• Strong understanding of IT Architecture concepts
• Broad understanding of IT landscape, Applications, Technology, and
infrastructure solutions
• Good understanding of Public Cloud offerings and ability to build cloud
migrations strategies.
Global Solution Centre
• Architecture related certifications like TOGAF
