Role Summary
Lead fund accounting operations for private debt funds, ensuring
accurate NAVs, investor reporting, capital activity processing,
financial statement preparation, and audit support while managing a team
of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting
- Review P&L and approve NAV and fee calculations

Review loan accruals, interest income, fee income and
realized/unrealized gains.
- Oversee fund-level accounting and period-end close.
- Review complex journal entries and reconciliations.
Investor Reporting
- Review capital calls and distribution calculations.
- Prepare LP statements and carried interest calculations
- Review waterfall calculations.

Calculate IRR, MOIC and other important investor reporting ratios.
Governance & Controls
- Manage audit requests.
- Drive SOX/control compliance.
- Implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Team Leadership
- Coach junior accountants.
- Manage stakeholder communications.
- Review work allocation and productivity.
Preferred Experience
- Qualified CA mandatory.
- 5 to 7 years’ experience.
- Private Debt / Private Credit / PE Fund Accounting.
- Geneva, Investran, Yardi or similar platforms

Strong understanding of relevant accounting standards and investment
fund reporting.
- Strong excel skills
