As our new Senior Associate in Record-to-Report & Group Reporting team, you ‘ll be a part of a dynamic and collaborative team where precision and accountability are valued. The team manages the month-end and year-end close activities ensuring accurate, transparent and timely preparation and presentation of our financial statements.
More specifically, you will play a key role in supporting timely and accurate period-end close and financial reporting activities in compliance with GAAP/IFRS. You will assist in preparing financial statement, journal entries, compiling workpapers, reconciling accounts and balances, and analyzing financial data to ensure the integrity of our reporting processes.
Responsibilities will further consist of:

• Leadership (Finance director, GCC Head of Finance, Group finance controller etc.)
• GPOs
• Auditors – Internal, statutory, tax, etc.
• Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and other finance teams

We are looking for Chartered Accountant/ACCA/CPA with 4+ years of experience in GAAP/IFRS financial reporting and multi-entity consolidation
Alternative qualification - MBA Finance, Cost Accountancy or MCom (H)

We look for the following in a candidate
• In-depth understanding of the applicable GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Proven experience in managing month-end close processes including account reconciliation, journal entries, and financial risk mitigation.
• Skilled in conducting internal audits, implementing robust internal controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and troubleshooting complex accounting issues.
• Demonstrates a collaborative mindset and ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.
• Proficient in the use of ERP systems (like MSBC) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to engage stakeholders.
• Professional accounting qualifications like CA/CPA/ACCA will be preferred.
