Job Description
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support production reliability, database operations, incident management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and related support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling L1 Security tickets for DBRE team
- Attending access-related queries
- Create DBs and manage insertion and deletion operations
- Running DB queries which involve minimal engagement
- DB Schema changes
- Handling data gathering requests
- Handling low-level environment issues
- Incident handling
- Dashboard creation
- Quick fix / patch fixing
- Documentation
- SOP creation
- Alert modification and threshold management
- Backup monitoring
- Restoration activities
- Ticket monitoring for the respective support area and communicating with customers for additional information and status updates
- Responsible for triaging and solving production issues and updating tickets to stakeholders by adhering to SLAs
- Work on resolution of tickets as per priority and perform requests, recovery, data fixes, etc.
- Problem Management
- Maintain all relevant documentation
- Jira queue monitoring, creating and updating tickets with resolution details and categorization
- Responsible for updating tickets, addressing escalations and sharing progress with end users
- Keep updated on support process knowledge and overall adherence to SLA and metrics
- Perform initial troubleshooting, do analysis and resolve customer concerns
