Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based automation solutions, scripts, and tools that streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
• Contribute to end-to-end delivery of small-to-mid-sized projects, from prototyping and development to testing, deployment, and iteration
• Build and maintain lightweight frontend interfaces (dashboards, internal tools, UI components) that make automation solutions easy to use
• Support the development of AI/GenAI-driven features and proofs-of-concept (e.g., LLM integrations, prompt engineering) under guidance from senior engineers
• Work with APIs, databases, and data pipelines to fetch, process, and present data effectively
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and data teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions
• Debug issues, fix defects, and improve the performance and reliability of existing automation code
• Write and maintain clear documentation for scripts, tools, and processes
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and code review processes
• Learn new tools, frameworks, and AI advancements, and apply them to day-to-day work
• Manage assigned tasks effectively and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months – 1 year of hands-on experience in software development or automation (internships and relevant project work considered)
• Strong proficiency in Python, including writing clean, modular, and reusable code
• Working knowledge of Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., pandas, requests, Flask / FastAPI / Django, Selenium / Playwright / PyTest)
• Exposure to frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React or TypeScript is a plus)
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases (NoSQL exposure is a plus)
• Solid programming fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Good analytical and debugging skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic exposure to AI/GenAI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG) or hands-on personal/academic projects
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)
• Basic understanding of Docker
• Personal projects, GitHub contributions, or hackathon participation
• Relevant certifications in Python, cloud, or AI/ML
