Job Summary

Navneet Education Limited is looking for a highly skilled and result-oriented Automation Engineer with strong experience in Special Purpose Machines (SPM), customized machinery, and industrial process automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing automation solutions, enhancing production efficiency, optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing manpower dependency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

The candidate should possess hands-on experience in automation systems, machine commissioning, lean manufacturing, process optimization, and SAP BOM & Routing. Experience in industries such as FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Packaging, Printing, Paper Products, Textile, Engineering, or similar manufacturing sectors will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Engineering

Handle industrial and process automation projects from concept to implementation.
Work on SPM (Special Purpose Machines) and customized manufacturing machinery.
Develop and implement automation solutions to improve productivity and reduce manual intervention.
Perform machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and process validation activities.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams for automation projects.
Support CAPEX projects, machine upgrades, and technology improvements.

Manufacturing & Process Improvement

Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Conduct Time & Motion Studies to improve operational efficiency.
Perform bottleneck analysis using TOC (Theory of Constraints) principles.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and Single Piece Flow concepts.
Drive productivity improvement, cycle time reduction, and manpower optimization initiatives.
Monitor machine performance and recommend corrective actions for downtime reduction.
Lead continuous improvement and cost-saving projects.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain process documentation, technical reports, SOPs, and project records.
Prepare productivity, efficiency, and cost analysis reports.
Ensure compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards.
