Job Purpose
The role is responsible for managing distributor onboarding, channel finance
operations, receivables management, overdue monitoring, order management,
credit governance, banking processes, balance confirmations, and MIS
reporting. The incumbent will closely collaborate with Sales, Accounts,
Logistics, IT teams, distributors, and banking partners to ensure robust
credit controls and effective working capital management.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Control & Receivables Management

Manage customer onboarding and credit approval processes.

Monitor receivables, collections, and overdue outstanding.

Follow up with distributors and channel partners for payment recovery.

Monitor customer credit limits and exposure.
-
Drive initiatives to improve working capital efficiency.
Channel Finance & Banking Operations
-
Handle channel finance activities and banking coordination.
-
Monitor fund utilization and exposure under channel finance programs.
-
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for smooth execution.
-
Ensure timely reconciliation and closure of banking transactions.
Order Management & Credit Governance

Review and approve customer orders in line with credit policy.

Monitor order releases and order blocks in SAP.
-
Ensure adherence to approved credit norms and authority matrix.

Support credit evaluation and risk assessment activities.
Process Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with credit policies and internal controls.
-
Manage balance confirmations and customer reconciliations.
-
Process Credit Notes, Debit Notes, and Full & Final settlements.
-
Support internal and statutory audits.
MIS & Reporting
-
Prepare periodic MIS reports and leadership dashboards.

Analyze overdue trends, collection efficiency, and customer exposures.

Generate insights to support business decisions.

Drive process automation and digitization initiatives.
Team Management
-
Guide and support team members in daily operations.
-
Allocate responsibilities and monitor deliverables.
-
Train and develop team members for future roles.
-
Conduct induction sessions for sales teams on credit policies and
processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification
-
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business
Administration.
-
MBA Finance / M.Com preferred.
