Key Responsibilities
1. Application & Technical Leadership

Lead the divisional application team across multiple locations.

Develop application strategies aligned with business objectives.

Provide expert scientific and technical guidance on IVD products.
-
Support assay implementation, workflow optimization and troubleshooting.
-
Evaluate instrument/application performance and recommend corrective
actions.
-
Support installation, validation and commissioning of IVD systems.
2. Sales & Business Support
-
Work closely with Sales and Product Management teams to achieve business
objectives.
-
Participate in product demonstrations, customer evaluations and technical
presentations.
-
Support tender discussions and key account engagements.
-
Provide application support during product launches and market development
activities.
-
Develop scientific and technical inputs for product positioning.
-
Support generation of application evidence and competitive
differentiation.
3. Customer & KOL Management
-
Develop strong relationships with:

Pathologists
-
Laboratory Directors
-
Microbiologists
-
Clinicians
-
KOLs
-
Hospital Management
-
Diagnostic Centre / Reference Lab stakeholders
-
Act as the escalation point for application-related customer issues.

Conduct regular customer visits.
-
Monitor customer satisfaction and drive corrective actions.

Ensure customers achieve optimum utilization of installed systems.
4. Training & Knowledge Development
-
Conduct customer training programs, workshops and scientific seminars.
-
Prepare SOPs, application guides, training materials and user
documentation.
-
Train Application Specialists and Sales teams.
-
Develop internal product/application certification programs.
-
Identify technical skill gaps within the team and create development
plans.
5. Team Management
-
Lead, mentor and develop the application team.
-
Set KPIs and performance objectives.
-
Conduct performance reviews.
-
Identify training and development requirements.
-
Build a culture of technical excellence and customer-centricity.
6. Quality & Regulatory
-
Ensure compliance with applicable quality systems and regulatory
requirements.
-
Support product validation and documentation activities.
-
Maintain accurate application reports, customer feedback and training
records.
-
Ensure adherence to company SOPs and quality processes.
7. Market Intelligence
-
Track competitor products, technologies and applications.
-
Understand emerging diagnostic technologies and customer requirements.
-
Gather customer feedback and recommend product/application improvements.
-
Provide market intelligence to Product Management and Business Leadership.

Experience:
8–15 Years
Mandatory:

Experience in
IVD / Diagnostics / Clinical Laboratory / Medical Devices
.

Minimum
3–5 years of team management experience

Strong understanding of at least one or more:

Clinical Chemistry

Immunoassay

Hematology

Molecular Diagnostics

Microbiology

Other relevant IVD technologies

Strong exposure to laboratory workflows and instrument applications.

Experience in installation, validation, troubleshooting or implementation
of diagnostic systems.

Customer-facing experience with hospitals, diagnostic laboratories or
reference laboratories.
