Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/MM Expert with strong manufacturing domain knowledge to act as a Plant-Level System Controller. The candidate will be responsible for driving SAP adoption across Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) modules and ensuring complete process mapping in SAP.

The role requires eliminating manual/excel-based processes and implementing standard SAP functionality to strengthen plant digitalization and system governance.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP PP/MM Functional Leadership
   • Act as the Plant SAP PP/MM System Controller
   • Ensure complete utilization of standard SAP PP & MM functionalities
   • Configure and optimize:
     • MRP & Demand Planning
     • Production Orders & Scheduling
     • BOM & Routing management
     • Work Center & Capacity Planning
     • Batch Management
     • Inventory Management
     • Procurement & Vendor Management
   • Ensure proper master data governance (Material Master, BOM, Routing, Vendor Master, etc.)
2. Manufacturing Process Mapping & Digitalization
   • Map all plant processes into SAP (eliminate manual registers / Excel tracking)
   • Standardize process flows in:
     • Production Planning
     • Raw Material issuance
     • WIP tracking
     • FG confirmation
     • Rejection / Scrap handling
     • Subcontracting
   • Drive automation and system-based controls
   • Identify gaps between physical process and SAP transactions and close them
3. System Governance & Control
   • Ensure transactional discipline at plant level
   • Monitor:
     • Open production orders
     • Pending confirmations
     • Stock mismatches
     • MRP exception messages
   • Drive real-time data capture on shop floor
   • Ensure audit compliance and system accuracy
4. Continuous Improvement & Rollout
   • Implement best practices of SAP PP/MM
   • Train plant users and supervisors
   • Lead new SAP functionality rollout
   • Coordinate with Corporate IT team for enhancements
   • Support month-end activities (production closing, inventory reconciliation)
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
   • Coordinate with:
     • Production
     • Purchase
     • Stores
     • Quality
     • Finance (for inventory & costing impact)
   • Act as bridge between Plant Operations & Corporate IT

Required Qualifications

• Graduate / Engineer (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred)
• SAP PP/MM Certification (Preferred)
• 6–12 years of experience in Manufacturing + SAP PP/MM
• Experience in discrete/process manufacturing environment
• Experience in S/4HANA will be an added advantage

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on knowledge in:
  • MRP (MD01 / MD02)
  • Production Order lifecycle (CO01, CO02, CO11N, etc.)
  • BOM (CS01/CS02)
  • Routing (CA01/CA02)
  • Capacity Planning
  • Purchase Requisition to PO cycle
  • Inventory Management (MIGO, MB1A, etc.)
  • Batch Management
  • Subcontracting process
  • Stock reconciliation
