Experience: 3–4 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Industry Preference: FMCG / Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Coordinator / Project Engineer with strong AutoCAD and engineering design capabilities to support manufacturing plant projects. The role involves preparation and modification of engineering layouts, project coordination, vendor management, equipment installation support, and execution of plant expansion and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and review plant layouts, equipment layouts, utility layouts, piping and equipment positioning drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings and coordinate design changes with stakeholders.
• Support project planning, execution, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for project execution.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, BOQs, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and project review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety norms.

Required Skills

Must Have

• Excellent AutoCAD skills with hands-on experience in preparing and modifying engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of plant layouts, equipment layouts, and utility systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings.
• Good project coordination and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing plant projects.
• Exposure to equipment installation, commissioning, and production operations.
• Knowledge of project documentation, BOQs, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with MS Project or project tracking tools.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• 3–4 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, Plant Engineering, or Manufacturing Projects.
