Role Overview: Electrical Supervisor (Low Power Systems)
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising, executing, and maintaining all Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) and low-voltage systems at the site. This includes installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves coordination with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure the smooth execution of all electrical and ELV works.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review and ensure installation of drawings and cable schedules adhere to industry standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians and helpers, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Conduct testing and commissioning; prepare all necessary documentation and reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety norms, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all ELV/low-power equipment.
- Estimate material requirements, check quantities, and raise material requests.
- Attend client meetings and provide technical updates.
Required Experience and Knowledge:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in construction, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, automation, and industrial communication protocols (Serial communication, Ethernet, Modbus, TCP/IP).
Essential Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of ELV / Low Power systems and electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings (schematics, Single Line Diagrams/SLD, layout plans).
- Hands-on experience with cable routing, installation, and termination works.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in communication, team management, and documentation.
Minimum Qualification:
- Diploma or B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
