The Group CFO will be responsible for managing and controlling all financial
activities within the Group. This individual will oversee cash inflows and
outflows, analyze financial strengths and weaknesses, and propose corrective
actions to ensure the financial stability and growth of the organization. They
will be accountable for coordinating with key departments to meet financial
goals, maximize returns, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Strategy:

Provide comprehensive financial reports and indicators to the Group
Chairman.

Develop strategies to improve financial performance and ensure long-term
financial health by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities.

Maximize returns on invested funds and manage liquidity efficiently.

Review monthly financial budgeting reports, including profit and loss by
division, and cash flow, analyzing variances to develop improvements.

Develop financial strategies and tax strategies to reduce obligations
and enhance revenue.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

Monitor and control expenses across the Group.
-
Evaluate and guide investments, capital structure, and expense
management.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and systems enhancement.

Supervise all finance-related functions, including accounting, tax,
treasury, and legal departments.

Compliance & Audit:
-
Ensure compliance with regulations such as ROC, BSE, SEBI, and other
legal frameworks for all Group companies.

Arrange periodic audits and submit variance reports to company heads and
the Group Chairman.

Maintain insurance policies to protect against financial risks and
oversee strategic planning processes.

Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and manage IPO processes for Group
companies.

Decision Making & Risk Management:

Assist in financial decision-making by providing insights based on
financial data, and guide managers and executives in making informed
decisions.

Assess and mitigate risks related to financial operations, and implement
processes to minimize errors within the department.

Manage the working capital cycle and ensure the financial well-being of
the organization by managing cash flow effectively.

Evaluate company valuation, considering key factors such as PBT, EBITDA,
Debt:Equity Ratio, and Current Ratio.

Review the impact of MCLR and its relevance to borrowers.

Tax & Finance Strategy:

Oversee tax planning and preparation, ensuring compliance with corporate
tax regulations.

Manage term loan and working capital finance with banks and other
financial institutions, ensuring alignment with company growth and
financial goals.

Create and review financial reports and tax filings, including income
tax returns, GST, and other necessary compliance forms.

Leadership & Supervision:

Lead finance teams, including controllers, financial advisors,
consultants, and treasurers.

Ensure the team has the necessary training and knowledge to manage
financial tasks and report effectively.

Share expertise in handling cost audits and tax planning strategies.
-
Supervise the handling of term loans, working capital finance, and
compliance with necessary financial guidelines.
Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA
preferred).

Professional Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA).
