Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, proven expertise in FMCG/chemical/food manufacturing environments, and hands-on experience in preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the maintenance department across utilities, production, and packaging equipment.
Develop and implement preventive & predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgradation of machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, MTBF/MTTR reporting for critical equipment.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Manage CAPEX projects, technical upgrades, and vendor coordination for equipment procurement and commissioning.
Supervise maintenance of static and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, boilers, cooling towers, packaging machines, etc.).
Drive energy management, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement in plant operations.
Train and mentor maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation.
Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Experience: 10–15+ years in plant maintenance within FMCG, detergent, food, beverage, or chemical industries.
Strong knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, and utilities management.
Hands-on expertise with packaging machinery, conveyors, pumps, compressors, boilers, and utility systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and GMP practices.
Proven ability to manage CAPEX projects, technical upgrades, and vendor negotiations.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
