Assistant Production Manager

Job Description (JD): 
Position: Assistant Production Manager 

Location:  Suez, Egypt 

Experience: 15+ years in production and maintenance management (FMCG mandatory) 

Key Responsibilities 

• Strategically plan, supervise, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across production facilities. 

• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production. 

• Drive operational excellence by maximizing machine availability and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) . 

• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless plant operations. 

• Conduct in-depth analysis of recurring equipment failures and implement sustainable root cause corrective actions . 

• Oversee maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and equipment documentation with high accuracy. 

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to maintenance and production teams, ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and company procedures . 

• Spearhead installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects for production equipment. 

• Monitor and report maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, downtime, and maintenance costs , ensuring alignment with business goals. 

• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all production activities. 

Requirements 

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in production and maintenance management. 

• Proven track record in FMCG manufacturing , preferably from a cosmetic background (mandatory). 

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. 

• Expertise in managing large teams and complex production environments. 

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
