Job Purpose
Ensure a safe working environment at the labour site by implementing safety
policies, conducting inspections, ensuring statutory compliance, and
fostering a strong safety culture among workers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities

Safety Plans
:
Develop, implement, and monitor site safety procedures.

Compliance
:
Ensure adherence to safety laws, regulations, and company HSE policies.

Inspections
:
Conduct daily site inspections; identify unsafe conditions and practices.

Risk Assessment
:
Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
-
Training
:
Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
-
PPE Monitoring
:
Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.
-
Incident Management
:
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports.
-
Documentation
:
Maintain registers, permits, and statutory documentation.

Emergency Preparedness
:
Conduct mock drills and evacuation procedures.

Audit Liaison
:
Coordinate with authorities, clients, and auditors during inspections.

Reporting
:
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.
-
Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).
-
Additional HSE certifications (NEBOSH/IOSH) preferred.
Experience
-
2–5 years in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or
labour-intensive sites.

Prior experience managing safety at large labour sites preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.

Zero fatal accidents; reduction in Lost Time Injuries (LTI).

Timely closure of safety observations and corrective actions.

100% safety induction and PPE compliance.

Successful completion of internal/external audits.

Working Conditions & Terms

Site reporting time: 9:00 AM sharp; work until 9:00 PM or beyond,
depending on project needs.

Work on Sundays; 4 Sundays per month will be accumulated as leave after
probation (3 months).

No travel expenses provided at the time of joining.

Regular presence at the labour site required.

Willingness to work extended hours, shifts, and weekends.

Frequent interaction with labourers, contractors, and project teams.
