Role Summary

Ami Polymer Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic IT Manager / Sr. Manager to lead enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, manufacturing technology, ERP, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Pharma, Medical Device, Biopharma, or other regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Governance

• Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare and manage annual IT budgets, CAPEX/OPEX, and technology roadmaps.
• Establish IT governance, SOPs, policies, SLAs, and business continuity plans.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing and corporate functions.

Manufacturing IT & Industry 4.0

• Manage IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations and cleanroom environments.
• Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives including IoT-enabled devices, smart sensors, machine connectivity, real-time production monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
• Integrate PLC/SCADA/MES systems with ERP wherever applicable.
• Implement barcode, RFID, handheld devices, and manufacturing traceability solutions.
• Support automation projects to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

ERP & Business Applications

• Lead implementation, enhancement, and support of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365/SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
• Ensure seamless integration between Production, QA, QC, Stores, Purchase, Finance, HR, and Sales modules.
• Manage application upgrades, user access, change requests, and documentation.

Cybersecurity & Information Security

• Develop and implement enterprise cybersecurity frameworks.
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) through internal or external agencies.
• Ensure timely mitigation, remediation, validation, and closure of VAPT findings.
• Manage firewalls, endpoint security, EDR/XDR solutions, antivirus, email security, DLP, VPN, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and implement preventive controls.
• Develop and periodically test Incident Response and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Conduct phishing simulations and cybersecurity awareness programs.

Regulatory Compliance & Validation

• Ensure IT systems comply with applicable regulatory requirements including USFDA 21 CFR Part 11, GMP, GAMP 5, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards.
• Support Computer System Validation (CSV), audit trails, electronic records, and electronic signatures.
• Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Ensure data integrity (ALCOA+) principles are implemented across validated systems.
• Maintain validation documentation, SOPs, qualification records, and change control documentation.

Infrastructure & Network Management

• Manage servers, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and enterprise networking.
• Administer LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers, firewalls, CCTV, biometric systems, and access control.
• Ensure 24×7 availability of business-critical systems.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and optimize system reliability.

Cloud & Microsoft Ecosystem

• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and endpoint management.
• Evaluate cloud adoption opportunities and implement secure cloud solutions.
• Manage identity and access management with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and role-based access controls.

Data Analytics, AI & Business Intelligence

• Lead implementation of Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities across HR, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Implement workflow automation and digital approval systems.
• Support data governance and master data management initiatives.

IT Service Management

• Establish IT helpdesk processes with defined SLAs.
• Manage IT asset lifecycle, software licensing, AMCs, and vendor contracts.
• Lead procurement, vendor evaluation, and technology partner management.

Leadership

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
• Develop KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and create succession plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to drive business improvements.

Preferred Experience

• 10–15 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a manufacturing organization.
• Mandatory experience in Pharma, Medical Device, Biopharma, Chemical, Rubber, Plastics, or similar regulated manufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience supporting USFDA/GMP-compliant manufacturing environments.
• Experience handling regulatory audits and compliance documentation.
• Exposure to digital manufacturing and smart factory initiatives.
