1. Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations for the MRO distribution business in Coimbatore. The role will be responsible for warehouse management, supply chain efficiency, inventory control, and overall operational excellence to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

 

2. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations including warehousing, logistics, and supply chain functions
• Oversee warehouse operations such as inventory management, stock accuracy, inbound/outbound processes, and space optimization
• Ensure timely order processing, dispatch, and delivery as per SLA commitments
• Drive supply chain efficiency , cost optimization, and process improvements
• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to reduce shrinkage and improve turnover
• Lead and manage operations team , including manpower planning, training, and performance management
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and vendors for seamless operations
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Track and report KPIs such as OTIF, inventory accuracy, fill rate, and warehouse productivity
• Drive automation and digital initiatives for process improvement

3. Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations, warehouse management, and supply chain
• Strong exposure to MRO / industrial products / distribution business
• Proven experience in managing large warehouse operations and logistics
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/WMS
• Experience in handling end-to-end operations in a distribution setup
• Excellent leadership, team handling, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and process-driven mindset
