Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Operations Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise network and security infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of network connectivity, security controls, access management, wireless services, and cloud networking environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Network Access Control (NAC) & Authentication

• Administer and maintain Forescout and Aruba ClearPass platforms.
• Design, implement, and enforce policy-based network access controls , dynamic segmentation, and role-based access assignment based on user, device, and security posture.
• Manage 802.1X authentication , certificate-based authentication, MAC authentication, and guest access workflows.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot TACACS+ services for secure administrative access to network infrastructure.
• Integrate NAC solutions with directory services, endpoint security, and network infrastructure components.

Wireless Infrastructure Management

• Manage and support Aruba Wireless Controllers , Access Points, and mobility services.
• Configure and maintain SSIDs, VLAN assignments, RF optimization, and wireless security policies.
• Monitor and enforce Wireless IDS/IPS policies.
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, authentication, roaming, and performance-related issues.
• Perform capacity planning and optimization to ensure a high-performing wireless environment.

Routing, Switching & SD-WAN

• Administer and support enterprise Cisco routing and switching infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN technologies, VLANs, routing protocols, and high-availability solutions.
• Manage and optimize Fortinet SD-WAN environments for resilient and efficient site-to-site connectivity.
• Support network upgrades, change implementations, and performance tuning initiatives.

Firewall & Cloud Networking

• Administer and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, threat prevention, and network segmentation.
• Monitor firewall performance, security events, and policy compliance.
• Manage Microsoft Azure Networking services, including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Support cloud connectivity and security integration between on-premises and Azure environments.

Web Security & Proxy Services

• Manage and support enterprise web security platforms, including Zscaler and Forcepoint .
• Configure web filtering, SSL inspection, DLP, and access control policies.
• Analyze and resolve proxy-related connectivity and security issues.
• Implement and maintain secure internet access solutions aligned with organizational security standards.

 

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

Network Access Control & Identity

• Hands-on experience with Forescout and Aruba ClearPass .
• Strong understanding of 802.1X , certificate-based authentication, MAC authentication, TACACS+, and guest access services.
• Experience implementing policy-based access control and network segmentation strategies.

Wireless Networking

• Proven experience managing Aruba Wireless environments.
• Strong knowledge of WLAN design, SSID management, wireless security, and troubleshooting.

Routing & Switching

• Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, routing protocols, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.

Network Security & SD-WAN

• Hands-on experience managing Palo Alto Networks Firewalls .
• Experience with Fortinet SD-WAN deployment, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of security best practices, segmentation, and threat mitigation.

Cloud Networking

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Networking services and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Experience supporting cloud-based network and security architectures.

Web Security & Proxy Technologies

• Practical experience administering Zscaler and Forcepoint proxy solutions.
• Knowledge of web security controls, SSL inspection, content filtering, and secure internet access frameworks.
