Manager – PPC
Job Summary:
The Manager – PPC plays a pivotal role in streamlining production processes
and ensuring optimal resource utilization within the organization. This
position is vital for developing and overseeing production plans, ultimately
driving operational efficiency and supporting the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage monthly, weekly, and daily production plans to ensure
alignment with organizational goals.

Handle production scheduling and SAP-based planning activities to maximize
efficiency.

Manage MRP, BOM, routing, and production orders to facilitate smooth
manufacturing operations.

Ensure the timely availability of raw materials and production inputs to
meet production schedules.

Monitor plan vs. actual production outcomes and implement corrective actions
as necessary.

Coordinate effectively with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality,
Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.

Identify production bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization for
enhanced productivity.

Prepare production MIS, planning reports, and KPI dashboards to provide
visibility and insights.

Ensure accurate SAP transactions and timely closure of production orders for
seamless operations.

Drive productivity, process improvement, and cost optimization initiatives
within the team.

Lead and mentor the PPC/planning team to foster a high-performance culture.
Requirements:

Minimum 12+ years of experience for Assistant Manager and 20+ years for
Manager position.

Strong expertise in Production Planning & Control with a proven track
record.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PP and SAP MM modules.

Strong knowledge of MRP & Material Planning, Production Scheduling, and
Capacity Planning.

Experience with BOM & Routing, Inventory & WIP Management, and Production
Orders.

Demonstrated ability in Plan vs. Actual Analysis and reporting using
advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent cross-functional coordination and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing industries with complex production planning,
such as Pharma, Textiles, FMCG, Chemicals, and more.

Proven capability in managing multiple SKUs and high-volume production with
tight schedules.
- Exposure to resource optimization and lean production methodologies.

Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor and influence team
performance.
