The Machinery Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and performance of all production machinery — including printing, converting, cutting, binding, and packing equipment — through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices.

• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) of printing, converting, cutting, binding, packing and other production machinery as per OEM recommendations and PM schedules.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Prepare & Submit machine Job Card, history cards, PM schedules & Checklist, breakdown records and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate machinery overhaul, refurbishment, retrofitting and reliability improvement activities.
• Implement predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermograph and oil analysis, where applicable.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts through effective inventory planning.
• Supervise, guide and allocate maintenance technicians for planned and emergency maintenance activities..
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, safety procedures, statutory requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 8–12 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing; paper, printing, packaging or stationery industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of PLC, Drives, HMI, programming, fault finding and electrical/electronic panel troubleshooting.
