Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and intellectually curious Business Analyst to join our Nature-Based Carbon team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the business leadership team on early-stage climate and carbon initiatives.

The ideal candidate will help evaluate market opportunities, build financial models, conduct research, and support the development of innovative projects within the carbon ecosystem. This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy solving complex problems, working with ambiguity, and translating data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Business Planning & Financial Analysis

• Build and maintain business plans and financial models.
• Support investment assessments and project feasibility studies.
• Analyze revenue models, cost structures, and growth opportunities.

Market Research & Opportunity Assessment

• Conduct market sizing and opportunity analysis.
• Identify emerging trends within the carbon and sustainability ecosystem.
• Evaluate market attractiveness and competitive positioning.

Strategy & Project Development

• Support the conceptualization and development of new nature-based carbon projects.
• Assist leadership in strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Prepare business cases and recommendations for new initiatives.

Competitive Intelligence

• Monitor competitors, industry developments, and regulatory changes.
• Convert research findings into actionable insights and presentations.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and executive summaries.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Conduct exploratory data analysis using available datasets.
• Create reports, presentations, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to improve research and analysis efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• MBA candidates or recent MBA graduates are encouraged to apply.
