Position – Manager - R&D

Location – Howrah, West Bengal 

Experience- 12-15 years

Job responsibility:

Responsible to manage the complete R&D portfolio, research on develop of new products for cleaning and hygiene segment / personal care products- Face wash/shampoo/sun cream/jel/cream/lotions etc.

·         Explored the role of probiotics, prebiotics, inflammatory markers, and Anti-microbial peptides in skin hygiene and Personal care.

·         Evaluated skin care and Whitening and hygiene formulation for efficacy and safety and delivered to the business.

·         Explored different gene pathways involved in skin hygiene and care using ingenuity IPA.

·         Explored the role of commensal and pathogenic microorganisms to modulate skin's innate immunity.

·         Experience in the design of experiments, Molecule and formulation screening, SOP, and Inventory management.

·         In-vitro/ex-vivo models for pre-clinical evaluations for personal care formulations.

·        Identification & Screening of new actives (includes Ayurvedic, TCM & folk medicine) for Beauty & Personal care products.

·         Expert in Phytochemistry, Natural products & analytical chemistry.

·         Expert in developing Invitro assay and enzyme-based assay for screening therapeutic/whitening/Hygiene molecules.

·         Expert in Product testing & claims substantiation in personal care and Hygiene.

·         Expert in creating product briefs and including product benchmarks for all products.

·         Expert working with Cream, Shampoo, Hand wash, Body wash, Gel, face cream, face wash Body lotion and home care products.

·         Experience in primary research and secondary research, Qualitative and Quantitative research to identify gaps and needs of the consumer.
